Cornet Obolensky

remunerated elite foals for the 25th and 26th North-Rhine Westphalian elite auctions. “Beautiful types with handsome faces and well proportioned harmonious conformation caused a stir among the public. Particularly impressive were the decidedly spirited, uphill moving motions during the trot”. (Quote: N.R.W. head breeding official; RuP “Riders and Horses Magazine” in Westphalia 08/03).
Cornet Obolensky was declared second Vice-Champion as the darling of the public at the main North-Rhine Westphalian Approval of 2001

The stallion absolved an exceedingly good 30 day test with an overall point’s score of 8.33, as third of his test lot, leading the field in show jumping with the score of 9.24. He was moreover awarded the top score of 10 for loose jumping by the judges.

This up and coming young show jumping stallion with his highly modern makeup has all that it takes for a top performance sports horse. The highly elastic motions and superb uphill canter are well combined with jumping qualities that are hard to equal in respect to capacity, leg technique and manner of jumping. This special predisposition is clearly predetermined by his first class pedigree. He was presented successfully in show jumper competitions in 2003. In 2004 he was competed at equestrian sports events and stallion presentations under Ludger Beerbaum or Marco Kutscher.

Cornet Obolensky’s first foal crops have already produced a number of highly remunerated Elite foals for the North-Rhine Westphalian Elite auctions. “Beautiful types with handsome faces and well proportioned harmonious conformation caused a stir among the public. Particularly impressive were the decidedly spirited, uphill moving motions during the trot”. (Quote: N.R.W. head breeding official; RuP “Riders and Horses Magazine” in Westphalia).

His sire Clinton, son of the international icon Corrado I (Franke Sloothaak), himself a highly successful international show jumper, not only combines the premium national stallions Cor de la Bryère, Landgraf I and Capitol in his pedigree but furthermore derives from Holstein bloodline 8829.

The Damsire Heartbreaker, who was victorious in World Cup events, is a son of probably the most prominent Dutch sire of show jumpers of the past 20 years, namely, Nimmerdor.
The Grandam, a successful advanced class show jumper, produced the victorious international competition sports horse Querido (by Feinschnitt I). Her sire Randel Z, a son of Thieß Luther’s successful international competition sports mare Alarie Z, inter alia, brought forth the international dressage horse Nector (Ingrid Klimke).
